We have 6 generous pitches available 2 with 16amp electric hookup and 4 without.

We can only dispose of green toilet waste, there is a waste station in the nearby village for blue.

caravans

Europe isn’t very caravan friendly but we are, we even have space for double axle caravans.

Tent camping is available and feel free to use our seating, BBQ and toilet and shower block

Place your order the night before and we will deliver your fresh bread and pastries in the morning

Eggs from our own chickens are available for purchase, but don’t delay as they go fast 

Please keep Dogs on a leash as our  free range chickens are frequently out and about.

Please respect our other guests by limiting noise and music after 9.30pm

Wi-fi is available and is complementary, the range does not currently cover the full camping area. this scheduled for improvement.

Pets are generally welcome we do ask that you confirm with us first. Children are also welcome at Camping Le Jardin

 Yes there is a washing machine available for use in the afternoons for a small fee, enquire on arrival.

Breakfasts are available, please order before 10pm the night before.

Vienne is a department in central-western France to the north-east of the Poitou-Charentes region that includes the town of Poitiers and the popular futuroscope theme park and several interesting towns and villages.

 
 

Golf

There are three golf courses nearby, close to the major town in the area, Poitiers, they offer both 9 and 18 hole courses many other services such as clubhouse, driving range and are very welcoming to visitors.

Futuroscope is the 5th most visited theme park in France with about 1.9 millions visitors per year and it’s an absolute must for all the theme park lovers out there. It is described as a cinematic, futuristic and technology theme park, highly focused on innovation and new technologies.

Futuroscope, since its opening in 1987 has had various awards for its attractions and shows.

La Vallee de singes

La Vallée des Singes”, the unique wildlife park dedicated to primates was founded in 1998. It is a place of amusement and knowledge promoting ecological awareness. Since its creation, the main objective of the park is to contribute in protection of nature, environment and primates.

Val de Vienne

The Val de Vienne circuit is operated by Les Deux Arbres who have spent the past 18 months significantly upgrading the Le Vigeant venue to ensure it is ready for a new era.
Pits, paddock, function rooms, restaurant, media centre, conference room, podium, video control room, sound systems and internet access have all been overhauled and rebuilt to offer a fresh dimension for users and spectators.

Canoe / kayaking / rafting

Watersports are a popular activity in the area and there are centres at Ruffec, Vivonne and Charroux, Confolens as well as many other picnic spots near the many rivers that meander across the french countryside.

Cycling is very popular in the Vienne area which is mainly gentle hills and flat farmland.

We have 2 bicycles available for hire if required.

Verteuil sur Charente

The beautiful medieval village of Verteuil sur Charente, rich in heritage, is a witness to French history.


Cradled by the Charente River which meanders through its narrow streets, it is nestled at the foot of the castle built by the La Rochefoucauld family.
